Standard shipping containers come in a range of sizes and configurations, from 5′ up to 45′. They can feature doors on the sides or ends as required. Standard containers are often used for long or short term storage, for example when renovations are underway, or when moving house.
Site accommodation, or welfare units, are used by construction companies to house people and equipment on busy sites. These can include canteens, sleeper units, portable chemical toilets and drying rooms.
Containers and site accommodation equipment from our Birmingham depot is delivered using state of the art rigid or articulated Hiab crane vehicles. All of our drivers are fully certified crane operators, and experienced HGV1 drivers. Offloading containers and cabins using a Hiab crane means that the equipment can be positioned accurately and safely on site.
However, in locations where HGV access is not possible, we can supply flat-rack containers which can be assembled in position.
